Bracelets
The Bracelets Project helps the students of Helping Hands to finance their own personal expenses. The students make beautiful hand made macramé bracelets which we then sell abroad. The earnings go to the bracelet makers for their personal expenses and to supplement our Opportunity Fund which supports students until we can find sponsors for them. This Fund also finances required educational trips and special educational materials.
The Bracelets Project has been expanded to include young mothers so they can work at home and care for their children while earning money to pay for their child’s upkeep.
A package of 75 assorted bracelets costs $US 100 including postage and handling. You can sell the bracelets for $3.00 to $5.00 in the US and Canada and from 2 to 4 Euros in Europe, and YOU keep the profits for your own activities.
